The MECU Foundation will hold its 17^th Annual Charity Cup Golf Tournament at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Timonium, Md., on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Participants can register for or sign up to sponsor the event at mecu.com/golf.

As the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser, the golf tournament brings together corporate sponsors and the Maryland financial sector to endow scholarships, non-profit educational programs, and other Baltimore-area community causes.

“Over the years, the MECU Foundation has donated over $600,000 towards Baltimore City elementary schools, scholarships for high school students with high academic achievement, the CollegeBound Foundation, and more than 100 charitable organizations,” said Roman L. Clark, Sr., Chairman of the MECU Charity Cup Golf Committee. “We hope for another record-setting event so we can continue to make such a tangible difference in the lives of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders.”

This year’s golf tournament includes continental breakfast, 18 holes of play along the picturesque Loch Raven Reservoir, buffet lunch, awards ceremony, and raffle prizes for participants.

Registration for foursomes and individual golfers will remain open until Friday, September 1, 2023. Opportunities to support this year’s tournament beyond the green include sponsoring meals and specific holes, advertising in the digital program book, and donating services and raffle prizes.
