CUNA and BCFP Will Host HMDA Rule Implementation Webinar

On October 10th at 11:00 AM, CUNA will be hosting a webinar in conjunction with the BCFP to discuss technical implementation of the new HMDA rule.

This webinar is beneficial for lenders, compliance officers, all compliance professionals and anyone else needing information on the HMDA Final Rule. As our CompBlog readers already know, in August 2018, the BCFP released the 2018 HMDA Interpretive Rule, which provides partial exemptions for some insured depository institutions and insured credit unions from certain HMDA requirements as a result of the passage of S.2155.

This webinar will cover the following:
Operational Approach to filing 2018 HMDA data
The flexibility filers have when taking a partial exemption
Examples of how to take an exemption
Additional HMDA tools and resources to help filers
Additionally, the webinar will help credit unions
Identify where on the FFIEC website the 2018 Filing Instructions Guide (FIG) incorporating the 2018 HMDA Rule is located
Determine if your organization qualifies for a partial exemption
Understand the exemption codes and data points you can take an exemption on

Click here to register for the event. The BCFP will also be answering questions at the end of the webinar. However, if you have HMDA questions that are more regulatory in nature, please send those to CUComply@cuna.coop before the webinar so we can submit them to the Bureau in advance.
