Credit Unions Mourn the Loss of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals CEO Lauck

Lauck passed away Friday due to complications from a tragic bike accident, according to CMN Hospitals.

john lauck280x210“John’s passing is a tremendous loss for our organization,” said Nana Mensah, Chair of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Board of Trustees. “John will be missed by so many. We will be supporting his family and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals community during this heartbreaking time.”

Lauck served as CEO of the organization since 2011 and worked closely with credit unions which have been helping raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) since 1991 to pay for care, research, equipment and special services for children needing treatment.

John Bratsakis, president and CEO of the MD|DC Credit Union Association, also serves as chair of Credit Union Miracle Day which works to support CMNH through the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run and other events.
