Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley to Speak at CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference

Nikki Haley, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina, will deliver a keynote speech at the 2020 CUNA GAC during the general session on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Haley served as a member of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet and as a member of the National Security Council from 2017-2019. In 2010, she was elected as the first female and first minority governor of South Carolina. Haley was re-elected in 2014 and served until joining the Trump Administration.

Haley leads the policy group Stand for America, which she founded with the goal of promoting public policies intended to strengthen America’s economy, culture and national security.

The 2020 CUNA GAC will be held Feb. 23-27, in Washington, D.C. and is expected to draw thousands of credit union advocates.

In conjunction with GAC, the MD|DC Credit Union Association will be hosting its annual Advocacy Luncheon and scheduling meetings with members of the Maryland and D.C. Congressional delegations. Look for registration information in the coming weeks.
