POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Electronic Services Programs (ACH, Debit/Credit Cards, Share Drafts, Shared Branching, and Bill Pay). Ensures the Credit Union is in compliance and transactions are processed according to policies and procedures. Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from members (internal and external). Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate. Assists members and potential members in understanding and utilizing credit union products and services.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
The following statements describe the general nature and level of the work performed. They should not be considered an exhaustive list of all duties. Employees may perform other related duties as required.

A. ACH/Payroll
1. Processes and reconciles all payroll deduction accounts, pre-authorized transfers and ACH distribution.
Receives and processes daily ACH files, verifies ACH prenotes, and returns ACH overdrafts and rejects to
the Credit Union's corporate credit union.
2. Maintains stop payments for ACH and ensures that draft stop payments are on the system. Collects
applicable fees for stop payment processing.
3. Maintains and prepares ACH reconciliations monthly. Handles all discrepancies and adjustments
accordingly.
4. Assists with incoming and outgoing wire activities, corporate credit union adjustments and reconciling the corporate account/
Federal Reserve and other Bank statements for electronic funds transfers.
5. Prepares a variety of on-going and/or special reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual
basis, to include account activity and cost analysis and specialized monthly management reports relating to
all GL accounts.
6. All employees are required to understand, be proficient in, and able to implement all requirements of the
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US Patriot Act and Anti Money Laundering Act (AML) as they relate their assigned
duties and responsibilities. BSA/AML training is required annually of all employees.
7. Stays abreast of regulations and rules governing the ACH system.

B. SHARE DRAFTS
1. Responsible for processing Share Draft daily returns via the processor, including inquiries and retrievals.
Processes and resolves member inquiries regarding share drafts, returned checks and stop payments.
Maintains and updates member records as needed.
2. Responsible for balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts pertaining to share drafts. Researches
and resolves any out of balance conditions.
3. Prepares all documents for review in regards to share draft closures and reinstated accounts. Places stop
payments on credit union drafts and responds to status inquiries on credit union drafts. Prepares and mails
overdraft/collection letters for draft and debit card transactions.
4. Utilizing tact and experience-based knowledge, researches and resolves more complex accounting
problems, explaining specific policies and procedures while representing the Credit Union in a professional
manner and maintaining positive member relations.
5. Maintains current knowledge of Regulation D requirements and all areas of the share draft function by
reading and attending various seminars and conferences.
6. Responsible for maintaining the ChexSystems Program, including monthly billing.

C. DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS
1. Responsible for receiving and processing all requests for debit cards. Ensures all information is
complete, accurate, and posted in a timely manner. Posts adjustments as requested by internal staff,
including monthly charge-offs. Updates PSCU system with member contact information changes as received
from member service staff. Orders replacement debit cards as requested.
2. Prepares accounting entries daily and balances to the general ledger. Posts debits and credits and performs
debit and credit card settlement daily. Downloads and verifies debit and credit card settlement reports.
Balances debit/credit card activity against the GL.
3. Investigates lost or stolen cards and, where necessary, blocks accounts within established policies and
procedures. Maintains close working relationships with outside vendors. Investigates issues with debit and credit
cards.
4. Researches and resolves member disputes by obtaining copies of sales drafts and processes required
adjustments. Responds to and resolves member inquiries regarding their debit/credit card activity. Handles
charge-backs and adjustments to member accounts as needed. Submits fraud claims to the Credit Union's plastic card fraud
insurer. Flags high-risk accounts, counsels members, performs maintenance on the PSCU system.
5. On a daily basis, monitors and reviews all incoming card security reports for possible fraud. Contacts
members daily to verify if card transactions are fraudulent and performs card maintenance as necessary to
protect the Credit Union from potential fraud.
6. Stays abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting the Credit Union’s card products.

D. BILL PAY
1. Balances and reconciles all Bill Pay activity. Updates member accounts and general ledgers as applicable.
Prepares and posts the daily Bill Pay transactions.
2. Processes stop payments and returns.
3. Performs other account processing, accounting and/or electronic banking services duties as assigned by the
CEO.
