Securityplus Recognizes 'Positive Difference Award' Winners

Tue, Sep 16, 2014

Baltimore, Maryland

Securityplus Federal Credit Union is proud to announce Vickie Mackay, Donte Evans and Cheryl Warfield (Transaction Services Department) as the winners of Securityplus’ ‘Positive Difference Award’ for the month of August. The department was nominated for a ‘Positive Difference Award’ for going above and beyond their daily job requirements.

“The Accounting Department has been short-staffed all month. The Transaction Services Department has offered more than once to do anything they can to help. I mentioned that I needed to work on a big mailing project. The Department immediately said, ‘Bring whatever you have over; we can stuff envelopes faster than you can imagine.’ And they were right! It really took the pressure off the Accounting Department.”

The Transaction Services Department is the first department to win a Positive Difference Award.

The award, based on nominations and chosen by a committee of fellow employees, recognizes staff members who live our key brand messages of ‘Member Focused’ and/or ‘Community Proud’.

One qualified entry is selected each month. At the end of the year, all monthly winners are nominated for an ‘Outstanding Positive Difference Award’. The winner will be selected by all Credit Union staff.

Securityplus Federal Credit Union is a $365 million not-for-profit, member-owned, full service financial institution, with seven branches. Securityplus serves over 34,000 members in the greater Baltimore community.
