Point Breeze Credit Union (PBCU) announced today that they will once again choose ten high school seniors to receive a $1,500 scholarship through their annual scholarship contest.
Recipients must be a member of the credit union and a graduating senior who will be attending a full¬ time accredited two or four year college this fall. Students must complete an application and an essay and provide two references. They must also be able to provide a letter of acceptance from the college of their choice prior to receiving the award.

'The recipients were thoughtful in their responses and showed great enthusiasm and understanding of the importance of higher education to their futures.We are thrilled to be able to help these deserving young adults develop into our future leaders."

Applications are also available at each of our conveniently located branches. All application packages must be postmarked by April30, 2013. Winners will be announced in June.
Membership eligibility:If you work,worship, are a member of or participate with an organization located within 20 miles of a PBCU branch, you and your immediate family are eligible to join.
