For the last four years, the MD|DC Credit Union Association has been fortunate to have Ricardo Pineres serve as our representative in front of our federal, state, and local elected officials. Over this time, he has helped to create a strong voice that carries the credit union message to Capitol Hill, Annapolis, District government, and various local governments across the State of Maryland. Furthermore, I know that many of you have relied on him for information on how legislative, political, and regulatory developments would affect your credit unions and the members that you serve.
Therefore, it is with mixed emotions that we inform you that Ricardo will be leaving the MD|DC Credit Union Association effective January 3, 2014. While Ricardo will be missed, we are happy that he will be pursuing a new opportunity that excites him and we wish him well.
Rest assured that our advocacy efforts will continue to be strong and our commitment to being a tireless advocate for you and your members remains unchanged. Furthermore, while we conduct the search to replace Ricardo, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions that you may have regarding our advocacy and regulatory efforts.
Thank you for your support and all the best to you and your family for a wonderful New Year!........John
