Project Zip Code (PZC) is a secure program that counts your credit union members and matches them by Congressional district, state legislative district, and county. These numbers are uploaded to CUNA's Project Zip Code website and combined with data from credit unions nationwide. This data aids in federal and state advocacy efforts. With over 80 million members matched, we can accurately show the strength of the credit unions across the country.
In addition to grassroots advocacy, PZC can help credit unions better serve their members. By using the Queries and Reports functions of PZC, you can see where your membership lives by state, county and zip code. These functions allow credit unions to better track where their membership reside and is very useful in planning ATM expansion and shared branching.
Please take a few minutes to run PZC at your credit union. You can download the program to your desktop by visiting http://www.pzconline.com/install and clicking on the "Download Project Zip code 13.0". On this site, you will also find a detailed User Manual to guide you through the installation.
With the new release of Project Zip Code 13.0 we have updated the entire queries and reports section. These tools are now even more helpful to your credit union in planning marketing activities and ATM placement.
