Securityplus Federal Credit held their annual Visit with Santa event on Saturday, December 7th. Over 150 children, and their family, were able to share their wish list with Santa Claus, listen to Mrs. Claus read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, make Christmas crafts and play games. Each child received a keepsake photo of themselves with Santa Claus.
Securityplus Corporate Offices were transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a gingerbread village wall mural and several lit Christmas trees. Many Securityplus staff members served as Santa’s helpers.
Member Kathryn Casswell attended her first Visit with Santa event, in 1988, with her mother when it was held in the auditorium at the Social Security Administrations’ main complex. This year Casswell and her mother brought her 8-month old daughter. “I’ve been looking forward to bringing my daughter to something I did as a child,” she stated. Santa Claus has celebrated the Christmas season with Securityplus members for over 30 years.
Securityplus Federal Credit Union is a $350 million not-for-profit, member-owned, full service financial institution, with seven branches. Securityplus serves over 33,000 members in the greater Baltimore community.
