Securityplus Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of their newest Baltimore City location on November 14th with an official ribbon cutting, followed by a ceremonial toast. The grand opening was held exactly 8 months from the date of their ground breaking ceremony in March.
Special guest speakers at the grand opening ceremony included Dorothy ‘Dot’ Smallwood (Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Human Resources – Social Security Administration - SSA) and Rochelle ‘Rikki’ Spector (District 5 Councilwoman, Baltimore City Council).
The Northwest Plaza Branch, located at 4470 W. Northern Parkway in Baltimore, was built in very close proximity to the Social Security Administration’s soon-to-open Wabash facility which will be home to approximately 2,400 employees. Securityplus originated 75 years ago to serve the employees of SSA. Brett Noll, Securityplus CEO, stated, “We are excited to provide such a beautiful and modern facility for our existing members and look forward to welcoming many new members from the Baltimore community.”
