Credit Unions Are: awesome and underrated!

My pet peeve about leaders is: when a leader says he or she is too busy for professional development. The most effective leaders are always learning and growing!

Recently we announced the launch of two comprehensive leadership programs designed to grow the leader wherever they might be in their career.  We are proud to have partnered with Laurie Maddalena who has designed the programs and will be leading and coaching the participants to mastery of these critical leadership skills.   For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to work with Laurie, we thought we would share some information about her.

Laurie has deep experience developing managers and executives. Prior to starting Envision Excellence in 2008, Laurie served as vice president of human resources and organizational development at Montgomery County Teachers Federal Credit Union (MCT), where she transformed the human resources function into a department that added value and impact to the organization. While at MCT, Laurie led the development of a comprehensive leadership program that included teaching managers coaching and leadership skills.

Laurie created her company, Envision Excellence so she could focus on her passions: coaching executives to peak performance and developing professionals into extraordinary leaders. Over the past five years, Laurie has coached executives and taught leadership programs for credit unions, non-profits, healthcare companies, IT companies and government contractors. She has received rave reviews and testimonials for her content-packed, results-oriented leadership programs. Laurie's supportive yet candid style challenges leaders to become their best.
