“All three of these individuals represent management’s commitment to a strategic talent selection process and resultant strong additions to the SECU team,” says Christopher Groshko, Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking at SECU. “Given the depth of their experience, their focus on teamwork, advanced problem solving and decision making skills, combined with successful track records in understanding client needs and providing timely and beneficial solutions, I am confident they will have a tremendous positive impact that ultimately will benefit SECU’s members and the cooperative, as a whole”.
All three of SECU’s new employees will be responsible for direct management of their respective branches, including performance monitoring, employee development and coaching, sales and service execution, as well as problem resolution.
As Branch Managers, Scarborough and White will focus primarily on employee development and member education and adoption of all the outstanding financial solutions SECU can provide, ensuring that referral and branch sales goals are met while directing all daily branch activity. Mutsuddi, as an Assistant Branch Manager, will devote more of her time to the member service experience, resolving member issues while assisting their Branch Manager with performance management and branch operations.
Scarborough brings more than 30 years of experience in branch operations and relationship management to SECU, most recently as a Commercial Branch Manager for M&T Bank. A resident of Owings Milles, she previously managed a portfolio of 250 business and retail customers while directly overseeing a staff of 13 professionals.
White also joins SECU from M&T Bank, where she served as a Branch Manager. The Catonsville resident has more than 14 years of relationship management experience in both retail and commercial environments.
Mutsuddi, who recently moved to Maryland from California, has nearly a decade’s worth of experience in banking, most recently as an Assistant Manager with US Bank. She also has served as staff accountant with John Deboni, CPA.
