The Federal Reserve Board announced on April 24 that the redesigned $100 note will begin circulating on October 8, 2013. To be sure that you are ready for its introduction, here are some available resources to help you educate your staff and members.
The Federal Reserve Board is offering free educational materials and images of the redesigned $100 note for member education initiatives. Visit newmoney.gov to:
- Download free educational materials, such as a poster highlighting the new security features of the redesigned $100 note. This and other training materials are available in several languages to better serve you and your members.
- Download digital images of the redesigned $100 note, which are available in the free Education Resource Kit.
- Download an educational video on the redesigned $100 note and its security features.
- Read FAQs about the new note and learn about previous designs of the $100 note.
How can you use these materials? You can use the FAQs and educational materials to write an article for your credit union's newsletter or website. You can use the digital images on the website too.
