Andrews Federal Credit Union Helps Deliver H.O.P.E. to Residents in Southeast Washington

Andrews Federal Credit Union partnered with Anacostia-AMP Outreach & Empowerment Center (Anacostia-AMP), a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in the historic Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, DC, for its first annual pre-holiday community dinner and coat giveaway on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

Andrews Federal’s Jasmine Lyle, Henson Ridge Branch Manager, helped distribute food and coats to local residents to assist during the holiday season.

“Our Henson Ridge location is deeply rooted in the community in which we serve,” said Lyle. “It is my honor to be of service to families in the Anacostia area during this holiday season.”

Anacostia-AMP Outreach & Empowerment Center, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in historic Anacostia neighborhood in Washington, DC exists to bring H.O.P.E. (Healing, Opportunities, Provision/Peace &

Empowerment) back to underserved communities, particularly those “East of the River”.
