On Wednesday, Oct. 18, the NCUA will hold a briefing at 2 p.m. on its recently released 2018-2019 budget proposal. The budget reflects a 2.1% increase in 2018 over 2017.
On Thursday, Oct. 19, the NCUA will consider final appeals and supervisory review committee (SRC) rules. The appeals rule would adopt procedures governing appeals to the board that would apply to agency regulations that currently have their own embedded appeals provisions.
The SRC rule that would expand the number of issues that can be appealed to the SRC, and would also expand the SRC and update its operating rules.
Other items on the agenda include:
- Request for information on electronic loan, deposit and investment data collection;
- Proposed rule on capital planning and supervisory stress testing; and
- A quarterly update on the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
The meeting will start at 10 a.m., and will be streamed live on the agency’s website.
