PSCU will host its next Marketing Perspectives Webinar on Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. ET.
The theme of the meeting: “Stake Your Claim. Grow Your Credit Union. Save Your Town. Leave Your Legacy.”
“When was the last time you read the ‘About Us’ page on your website?” asked PSCU in announcing the webinar. “Better yet, when was the last time you updated it? Believe it or not, that page is one of the most underutilized tools in your marketing arsenal. All you have to do is answer one simple question: Why is your business based here?”
The 45-minute webinar will be led by best-selling author and former television producer Andrew Davis, who will uncover the four simple secrets to driving higher-margin business just by marketing the place you do business, according to PSCU.
“He will teach you what makes a great origin story, how to leverage location-envy to attract the best employees, and how to create a sense of place,” PSCU said. “But more importantly, you’ll be inspired to leverage the power of place to build your business - and your town!”
Participants will learn three things during the webinar, PSCU said:
- How simply marketing the place your credit union is based can help to drive new business loans and members
- The importance of telling your members' stories to drive new members
- The value of thinking long term to build your community and drive new loans for everything from homes and cars to equipment and fleets
