APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) has hired Chuck Kelly, CPA as chief financial officer. Kelly assumes CFO responsibilities from Carol L. McBrien, who was promoted to executive vice president in November 2016.

Lewis, president/CEO of APGFCU. “He brings a breadth of financial, regulatory and credit union knowledge to his role, having worked with a number of credit unions along the East Coast.” Kelly has more than 15 years of experience specializing in providing audit and accounting services to credit unions.
Prior to joining APGFCU, he was based in Baltimore as senior audit manager with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. “I was immediately impressed by APGFCU’s dedication to its members, to the communities it serves, and to the credit union movement as a whole,” Kelly said. “I am extremely excited and proud to join the team at APGFCU.”
Kelly earned a Masters of Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a member of various civic and professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Managers Society of Maryland. He and his family reside in Baltimore County.
