Baltimore, MD, May 17, 2017 – Securityplus Federal Credit Union has presented Marketing Communications Specialist, Erica Glass, with the Positive Difference Award for the month of April. Erica was nominated for her initiative in hosting activities for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at the Credit Union.
In previous years, the Credit Union had allowed employees to bring their children to the office for the annual tradition, however there were no planned tasks for the children to complete throughout the course of the day. After learning about this, Erica quickly set out to make this year different. She purchased morning refreshments for the children and organized strategic games that they could participate in to earn ‘Plus Bucks’ which they then used to purchase prizes.
Not only did Erica make a positive difference, but her efforts made a lasting impression on the children that visited Securityplus for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Securityplus Federal Credit Union is a $380 million not-for-profit, member-owned, full service financial institution, with six branches. Securityplus serves over 34,000 members in the greater Baltimore community.
