The Partnership Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of David Martinez to Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Martinez will provide leadership for the Credit Union’s key strategic initiatives and oversee the Lending, Business Technology and Finance departments.
Martinez joined the Credit Union in 2009 as a Product Support Specialist and has served the Credit Union in various positons from Business Analyst to Director of Business Technology. Prior to the promotion to Vice President of Operations, he served as the Credit Union's Director of Lending Strategies and Business Technology, where he directed the design and implementation of business technology, product management and information systems, as well as drove the overall Lending strategy for the Credit Union.

Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Under his leadership in 2015, The Partnership Federal Credit Union won the CUNA Lending Council Excellence in Lending Award for their Lending Evolution Program which greatly improved processes and made obtaining a loan much easier and more convenient for members, and the CU Journal Best Practices Award for their ZipLINE Credit Builder Loan as an alternative to payday lending. Martinez serves on the Metropolitan Area Credit Union Management Association (MACUMA) Board of Directors, is an Advisory Board Member of the MD|DC Credit Union Association’s Young Professional’s Network and volunteers for the neighborhood rehabilitation organization, Georgia Area Thrive.
