MD|DC Credit Union Association and the Credit Union National Association cordially invite you to the 2016 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference, Feb. 21-25, 2016 in Washington, D.C. Drawing an annual audience of more than 4,000 credit union leaders, this is the premier event in the credit union movement and a tremendous opportunity to make our collective voice heard.
CUNA GAC leverages the unique power of our CUNA/League system to unite credit union advocates from across the country and deliver political impact on behalf of America’s more than 100 million credit union members.
CUNA GAC also features:
- State-specific GAC Hill Hikes visits
- Keynote sessions from leaders in business, politics, media and the government
- Breakout sessions on critical issues
- ED (Filene) Talks featuring forward-thinking, innovative speakers
- The largest vendor showcase in financial services industry
- Networking opportunities with credit union leaders
If you’ve never been to GAC before or it’s been awhile since you did, please make this the year to join in. But remember, even if you can’t attend the GAC conference itself, please join us for an association sponsored advocacy luncheon (Tues., Feb. 23) and/or ‘Hike the Hill’ (afternoon of Wed., Feb. 24). The fact is, it does take up your time to ‘Hike’ but most people enjoy the experience of directly advocating on behalf of credit unions and being a part of the process. Our colleagues from across the country will be flying in…us locals should meet them on the Hill to show them how it’s done.
Maryland and District of Columbia’s credit unions can make a big impact. Help us advance the movement by joining us in February for 2016 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.
Visit gac.cuna.org to learn more and register for CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference—and stay tuned for more information about speakers, breakout sessions and our vendor showcase.
