ABCs of Bankruptcy Law

Sharpen your pencils!   It’s time for your employees to learn the ABCs of Bankruptcy Law.  

This full-day session is designed for all credit union employees who can benefit from this introductory curriculum on the basics of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy.  



Topics will include proofs of claim, the bankruptcy stay, communication with debtors in bankruptcy, how to deal with their lawyers, and more. 


Frank Drake is a partner at the Raleigh-based firm of Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers LLP wherehe concentrates his law practice in the areas of creditors’ rights, creditors’ bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

Combining 30 years of practical legal experience with a robust, energetic communication style, Frank Drake lectures from his sizeable repertoire of topics, typically of interest to those in the financial industry.

Whether leading a basic training on bankruptcy or teaching a seminar on hot compliance issues, he has a flair for presenting technical material in an entertaining way sending his audience away with useful tips and practical resources.
