Branch Manager Sales Coach training

This one-day class is designed for credit union Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, and Call Center Managers who would benefit from a systematic approach to the coaching skills and activities necessary to help grow their branch teams to meet their potential, maximize the member experience, and grow employee skills and confidence. 

By attending this session, participants will:

  • Understand the various types of coaching
  • Learn and practice the high impact coaching model
  • Develop actionable development plans
  • Create next steps and follow-ups

Branch Managers play a critical role in the experience and reputation your credit union has in its local community.  Branch Managers wear many hats, but perhaps the most important is the role they play in leading, developing and coaching their team.  Branch Managers who complete this class will learn best practices in how to coach, when to coach, and how to drive results.  The coaching model that will be introduced can be applied to any expectations, but the class itself will use member experience and member share of the wallet proficiency as its foundation. 

The class will include tools and role playing to ensure the Branch Manager can apply their skills immediately upon returning to their branch.


Nick Koumentakos serves as Chief Services Officer for the MD|DC Credit Union Association focusing on the association’s Signature Events, Training, and Strategic Partnerships.

Prior to joining the association, Nick led the Sales and Service activities in the Mid-Atlantic for a Top 10 financial institution. Nick partnered with a cross-functional team in developing the process that reduced new member attrition and increased and accelerated new member adoption of products and services. In addition to growing share of the wallet and service satisfaction, Nick also managed the sales training and coaching function.

A certified coach, trainer and instructional designer, Nick is adept at introducing practical and repeatable behaviors to help turn inconsistent performance into consistently higher results. With more than 25 years of sales and service experience, Nick brings contagious passion for excellence to all of his participants.
