Elevating Leadership: How to Overcome the Leadership Challenge and Create an Organization of Exceptional Leadership
May 12, 2017
9:00 am – 11:00 am

Session Overview
Most organizations are operating at a mediocre level when it comes to leadership. Employees who are excellent at their technical job are often promoted to a leadership position, creating a cycle of ineffective leaders. The traditional approach to leadership has proven ineffective.

According to Gallup, just 33 percent of the American workforce is fully engaged in their jobs and 16 percent are actively disengaged. It's never been more challenging to be a leader than it is today. Employees are expecting more from their organizations. They want a sense of purpose and meaning in their work, a supportive environment, consistent feedback, and leaders who develop them to their potential.

In order to operate at an exceptional level, you need exceptional leaders. Effective, exceptional leaders can transform your credit union into profitable and successful organization with productive, highly-engaged employees who provide remarkable service to your members.

In this powerful session, Laurie Maddalena will share:

  • Three strategies executives and leaders can implement to break through this leadership challenge and create an organization of exceptional leadership.
  • The one thing the CEO must do today to positively impact the leadership quality at the credit union.
  • The best kept secret of the top organizations in the world when it comes to creating a culture of engagement, and how their profits even surpass the "Good to Great" companies.

Join us for breakfast on May 12 from 9:00-11:00, when Laurie Maddalena, leadership consultant and CEO of Envision Excellence, will present a complimentary workshop for all executives and leaders of credit unions.

At the end of this workshop, we will share some exciting new leadership offerings that are a result of the feedback we collected from credit unions over the past two years.

Laurie will also share information about the upcoming leadership course, The Effective Leader, which begins in September 2017. This transformative leadership program has received numerous accolades from past participants as well as CEOs.

Sign up today, and bring your entire team to this complimentary workshop!
