Regulatory Preparation Kit: How to Survive Economic Challenges and Avoid Compliance Concerns
In the face of shrinking margins and low loan demand, analysts are emphasizing the importance of non-interest income. What is your credit union doing to address the threat of impending regulations on one of the industry’s largest sources of non-interest income – overdraft programs?
Michelle Fox, Regional Director for JMFA, will update the DC Chapter of MDDCCUA on what to anticipate regarding regulatory changes – including proposals by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She will also outline what impact those changes may have on your credit union, and reveal five unnecessary mistakes commonly made by financial institutions that drive down overdraft revenue.
