Robert Ehrlich Jr. - Former Governor of Maryland    

As Maryland’s first Republican governor in 36 years when he was elected in 2002, Robert Ehrlich Jr. improved Maryland’s fiscal condition by turning $4 billion of inherited budget deficits into a $2.3 billion surplus. His pro-growth economic policies helped create 100,000 new private sector jobs. Today he is senior counsel in the Government Advocacy and Public Policy Practice Group at King & Spalding. Having served as governor, U.S. congressman, state legislator, and civil litigator, he counsels clients on government matters, with particular expertise in health care, finance and economic development.

Charles E. "Chuck" Fagan III became President and CEO of CUES on January 2, 2013. Prior to joining CUES, he served as executive vice president of PSCU's national sales and client relationship teams and helped pioneer the company's role in bringing emerging payments technologies to its Member-Owner credit unions.

 
 

 

Robert (Bob) Trunzo is president of CUNA Mutual Group Insurance and Financial Services. In this role, he is responsible for the products, distribution and service of the company’s U.S. credit union businesses as well as its 401(k) business. Mr. Trunzo is responsible for nearly 3,000 of the company’s 4,000 employees and approximately $2 billion of CUNA Mutual Group’s annual revenues. As an active member of the business community and insurance industry, he serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board of directors.



Bill Cheney, president and CEO of Credit Union National Association since July 2010, began his career with Security Service FCU.  Ten years later, he was named president and CEO of Xerox FCU and was elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions. In 2006, the California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues tapped him as their president and CEO. He has served with the American Association of Credit Union Leagues, the CUNA World Leadership Development Committee and the Western CUNA Management School.
 
 

Sean Hession, CEO & President of Callahan & Associates, is a successful entrepreneur who co-founded a healthcare transaction processing company and grew it to $40 million in annual revenue in five years.  Having worked in multiple industries, Sean's strength resides in strategy and planning to ensure goals and objectives are met. He clearly communicates how executives can bring all the pieces of their credit union into a cohesive whole.




Jay Johnson, Executive Vice President of Callahan & Associates, has over 20 years of financial industry experience working at top 20 banks and within the credit union industry. Much of his work has focused on lending and capital market areas, as well as innovative new product development including Callahan's prominent Peer-to-Peer data analytics software. Jay also leads Callahan's industry analysis through webinars, including the much anticipated quarterly Trendwatch calls, Creditunions.com, and Callahan's top publication Credit Union Strategy & Performance.
