Make plans to attend the October 3, 2012 Suburban Chapter Meeting
Does corporate philanthropy make good business sense?
Mickey Gomez, the founding Executive Director of the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County in Columbia, Maryland, says YES. We are pleased to announce that she will be the speaker at the October 3rd Suburban Chapter Meeting.
Mickey will discuss how credit unions can leverage philanthropy as a marketing and business strategy. Many credit unions focus on community outreach, but are you doing it effectively and efficiently? Mickey will discuss the most recent trends and offer ways to connect a company's social agenda to its overall strategy. Doing good can make good business sense; Mickey will share how to select the right charity, how to measure the return and ensure you choose a philanthropic activity that aligns with your overall organizational goals--all while giving recommendations on how to get the word out about your great community efforts.
