Post Office Credit Union of Maryland is seeking an experienced executive to join the organization as Chief Executive Officer. The Credit Union was founded in 1929 and is state chartered, privately insured and has $33 million in assets. This individual should be strategic and innovative, with a proven track record of leadership and success, and possess a solid understanding of credit union operations, policies, and regulations. The CEO will be responsible for directing, planning, and leading the operational activities and staff of the credit union, while achieving the strategic goals and objectives. Financial and business acumen experience is required, as this individual will collaborate with the Board of Directors in developing the credit union’s strategic plan and ensuring the organization remains financially sound. The CEO must possess strength in problem solving; human relations, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree plus seven to ten years of experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry is required. Master’s degree preferred.
