Education & Experience

The primary role of the Technical Support Analyst is to provide technical support for Freedom information systems and services to ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of member information. The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and support of all personal computing hardware, software, and business software systems. Including Tier-2 end-user support and the installation, maintenance and support of computers, servers, software, networking components, management software, telecommunications equipment, cabling, backup and recovery, and compliance management via desk side, phone or remote.

The Technical Support Analyst responsibilities include the maintenance and support of all infrastructure and banking support systems, The configuration, administration, and maintenance of business applications, maintain/review/audit user IDs and application access control reports, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system complications, research and implement new technologies by attending seminars and classes, provide operational and Tier-2 technical support, ensure network connectivity throughout Freedom’s LAN/WAN infrastructure, coordinate with vendors and staff to facilitate purchases, communicate status and details on work tickets, calls, projects, tasks and support requests to the affected end users and/or requester and other related IT duties. The work is generally sedentary although some work may require travel between branches for onsite repairs, maintenance, and meetings.

This position complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Maintenance of confidentiality of current, past, and potential members and their personal and financial information.

Requirements

Requirements:

•    High school diploma or GED.

•    Some College is required; College Degree Desired.

•    Two-Five years related experience.

•     Certifications in one or more of the following is desired: Microsoft Windows, Network+, and A+.

•     An associate degree in computer science, information systems, applied mathematics, or other related field and two or more years of related experience is preferred. However, considerations will be made based on cumulative experience, training, and certifications.

•     A combination of training, certifications, education, and experience equivalent to four years is required.

•    Specialized experience, certifications, and training in any of the following categories will be considered towards the four years of experience or training:

Cisco Network Administration (Switches, Routers, Hubs)

Desktop management software

Information Security

PC and Server Configuration Management

Anti-Virus (deployment and administration)

E-Mail Services

Telecommunication Systems

LAN/WAN

Active Directory

Network Administration

A+

Network+

Security +

Cisco
