Education & Experience

Candidates should be empathetic and have excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also exhibit mastery in developing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Ideal candidates will have experience with data analysis, building impactful data dashboards, and data governance. A strong knowledge of SQL and other database technologies is recommended. Candidates with a certification as a Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst Associate (or similarly related certification) will be preferred.

 

Include a resume or link to your LinkedIn profile to show 3+ years of related experience in business intelligence using PowerBI. A bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering/Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Requirements

The PowerBI Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft PowerBI. This person will work closely with the business and data teams to identify data needs, design and implement data models, and develop reports and dashboards that provide insights and drive decision-making for the credit union. While this position reports to the Chief Information & Technology Officer, this role works closely and daily with various business stakeholders in the Credit Union.

 

The PowerBI Developer will assist in using quality data visualization tools to guide business users in making data-driven decisions. They will also help analyze and interpret data, identifying pertinent trends and insights. The PowerBI Developer should be familiar in using multiple data sources, such as Oracle, SQL Server, XML, csv, and/or Excel. As a trusted advisor, the PowerBI Developer will offer recommendations to business users based on their data analysis and findings.

 

The PowerBI Developer must communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate with Information Technology teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of business intelligence solutions.
