The Business Relationship Officer provides consultative services to business members regarding deposit needs, cash flow options as well as, identify and refer new lending opportunities; developing, and maintaining business member relationships; builds trusting relationships with members while providing solutions that help their business grow and succeed. Business Relationship Officers plan and coordinate business development efforts designed for the successful achievement of Freedom’s strategic and business plan goals, effectively generate prospects and networking base through participation in various networking groups and community events. This position complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and maintains confidentiality of current, past, and potential members and their personal and financial information.
Education & Experience
College Degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field required is desired
Five years of experience is desired
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations
Highly organized, with ability to plan and prioritize work
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
Ability to monitor and assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to take corrective action or recommend solutions, product enhancements and operational changes
