The MD|DC Credit Union Association advocates on behalf of Maryland and D.C. credit unions with regards to regulatory actions being taken at the federal, state, and local levels of government. The Advocacy Department is actively monitoring proposed and final regulations that will affect credit unions and the member-consumers that they serve. The MD|DC Credit Union Association represents credit unions in front of many regulatory agencies, including the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation.
