APG FCU’s President & CEO Becky Smith Named 2026 CU Times Luminaries Awards Finalist
Becky Smith, President and CEO of APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU), has been named a finalist for the 2026 Credit Union Times Luminaries Awards in the Executive Leadership – President/CEO category for credit unions with $1 billion to $4 billion in assets.

The annual Luminaries Awards recognize credit union leaders, rising stars, credit unions and industry partners whose work is making an impact across the cooperative financial services industry. This year, Credit Union Times selected 230 finalists across 27 categories from several hundred submissions.
Smith has led APGFCU as President and CEO since January 2025. With more than two decades of experience in strategy, sales, marketing and organizational growth, she brings a strong focus on advancing APGFCU’s mission while serving its members and the communities it serves.
Becky’s recognition as a Luminaries finalist is a reflection of the strong leadership and commitment she brings to APG Federal Credit Union and the credit union movement. We are proud to see a Maryland credit union leader recognized among this year’s outstanding group of finalists.
