The MD|DC Credit Union Association will host its 2026 Volunteer Leadership Conference November 7–8 at Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort in Cambridge, Maryland, bringing together credit union board and committee members and CEOs for two days of education, discussion and networking.

The conference will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing credit unions and provide volunteer leaders with insights they can bring back to their organizations.

Conference topics include:

• Strengthening board governance and leadership
• Navigating economic and regulatory changes
• Understanding the evolving member experience
• Exploring AI, fintech and digital assets
• Preparing for changes in consumer lending

Attendees will hear from industry experts, connect with fellow credit union leaders and participate in interactive discussions designed to support strategic decision-making.

The conference will also feature a BSA for Volunteers pre-conference session on November 7 from 3–4:30 p.m. Participants will learn about key BSA requirements, compliance risks, money laundering and regulatory expectations and can earn 1.2 CPE credits.
