MD|DC Credit Union Association CEOs recently came together for a virtual roundtable with Scott Simpson, the new CEO of America’s Credit Unions, for a conversation about collaboration and the issues shaping the credit union movement.

CEOs heard directly from Simpson about his vision and priorities, and shared perspectives on both the challenges and opportunities ahead. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including shared credit union priorities, how leagues, America’s Credit Unions, and system partners can work more closely together, and what it will take to keep the credit union system strong. The group also talked about succession planning, support for small asset-size credit unions, and even what’s keeping Simpson up at night.
