Opportunity for Emerging Leaders to Crash the GAC for an Immersive Advocacy Experience

The Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) returns to Washington, DC March 1 – 5, bringing together thousands of credit union advocates.

Emerging leaders are invited to apply to ‘Crash the GAC’ for a chance to experience the industry’s premier advocacy event through a unique program presented by Filene and America’s Credit Unions. The Crasher program includes learning from world-class speakers, meeting with lawmakers, gaining industry insights and networking with professionals passionate about credit unions.

What’s Covered
Conference registration, along with meals and experiences are covered through the Crasher program. Travel and hotel costs are not included.

How to Apply
Applicants must submit a 60-second video explaining why they should represent their credit union and state at the GAC. The video should be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram, or another platform with a shareable link. Applicants are encouraged to be authentic, your “why” matters more than production quality.

One Crasher per state will be selected based on the credit union’s headquarters location.

Still Not Sure About Applying…
We talked to last year’s crashers and here’s what they had to say about the experience:

Applications close Monday, December 1.
