During the event, the leadership team shared the credit union’s recent successes and emphasized its ongoing commitment to strategically supporting member needs and promoting financial stability.
During the meeting, three credit union directors were selected to serve three-year terms on the Andrews Federal board.

“Our board volunteers willingly provide their knowledge, resources and energy to support the mission of our credit union,” said Kenneth Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union. “As we support our members and provide them with financial resources, we are strengthened and empowered by the strategic leadership of our board of directors. We are honored to have these volunteers continue to offer their guidance for our institution.”
Andrews Federal continued its support of education by awarding five $5,000 scholarships to incoming college freshmen. These scholarships provide much-needed support for students and families as they transition into the first year of college. The credit union also offered support for working families by providing $500 in summer camp funds for ten students ranging from elementary to high school.
According to Chief Operating Officer Damita Robinson, the credit union’s scholarship program is a part of the institution’s overall commitment to education and advancing economic wellbeing for its members. “Andrews Federal is committed to supporting education as a path to greater achievement for young people,” Robinson said. “Our scholarship program honors their drive for success, empowering them to aim for their goals and use college as the next stepping stone toward a meaningful career and future.”
