We must remind Congress that eliminating the federal credit union tax exemption would amount to a tax increase on more than 140 million Americans – including 2.7 million small business owners, first responders, teachers, and working families across Maryland, DC, and Delaware. These individuals, and many others, rely on credit unions for affordable, responsible financial services that help them build better lives and stronger communities.
