Credit union leaders from across the region gathered yesterday for a productive meeting of all the MD|DC Credit Union Association chapters. Dubbed the “Chapter Retreat”, the full-day event served as a valuable forum for collaboration, connection, and the exchange of best practices with the purpose of strengthening the chapter system.

Representatives from the Western Maryland, Suburban, Baltimore, and DC Chapters participated, along with members of the Delaware Network Steering Committee. Their participation and insights helped make the retreat a success.

Jordan Burroughs, the Association’s VP of Member Engagement, expressed appreciation for the commitment shown by those in attendance: “I’m grateful to our chapter leaders for taking a whole day out of their busy lives to come together to share ideas and discuss ways to make our chapters even better. There’s always a bit of magic that happens when passionate people get in a room together to collaborate, and I’m happy I got to be a part of it.”
