Del-One Federal Credit Union has announced that Adrian Romero, AVP of Retail Operations has been selected as a Board member for the Delaware Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

This chamber’s mission is to “provide tailored support, resources, and opportunities to Hispanic entrepreneurs and business owners in underserved communities”.  Adrian is a dedicated advocate for financial inclusion and has helped Del-One to expand banking services for the Hispanic community.  A few of these initiatives include leading the launch of Del-One’s first ITIN lending program, partnering with several local Latino organizations, and playing a key role in making Del-One the first credit union in Delaware to receive the Juntos Avanzamos designation, which is granted to credit unions that are committed to serve and empower members of the Hispanic community.

As a board member of the Delaware Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Adrian will continue his goals of empowering Hispanic businesses and communities through financial education and advocacy.
