The MD|DC Credit Union Association hosted its second annual Compliance Risk Symposium on Tuesday, bringing together over 30 credit union professionals to enhance their ability to manage compliance risks and protect their credit unions.

InfoSight CEO Glory LeDu provided a comprehensive update on the evolving regulatory landscape, highlighting areas under increased scrutiny, including succession planning, vulnerable adult abuse, and business continuity planning. She also emphasized how credit unions can tap into the Association’s resources to better navigate compliance challenges.

Both InfoSight and CU PolicyPro, available free to affiliates through mddccua.org, were spotlighted as invaluable tools. InfoSight, an online compliance resource accessible 24/7, simplifies the complex world of regulations with summaries, risk alerts, FAQs, and state-specific laws. CU PolicyPro® offers over 230 detailed model policies, helping credit unions tackle ongoing compliance and operational hurdles.

Attendees also explored AffirmX, a cloud-based compliance platform available through the Association, providing even more ways to stay ahead in today’s regulatory environment.
