Del-One iTin Member Wins $1,000 Prize!
Del-One Federal Credit Union had a 1K Giveaway contest in June for members that opened a Rewards Checking with Direct Deposit. Members were entered into a random drawing to win one of five $1,000 prizes.
Ingri, a member of the Latino community that joined the credit union through the iTin Lending program, was one of the lucky winners!
The iTin program provides financial services to members with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (iTin) rather than a social security number. Del-One’s Chief Lending Officer John Chartrand stated “we are so proud our Board of Directors realized the need and enabled us to offer these programs to benefit these under- represented communities. We are excited to continue to assist all members on their road to financial success”.
Ingri not only opened a new account but was also able to refinance her auto loan to a much lower rate, saving her thousands of dollars in interest over the term of the loan. She was already excited about her new account and auto refinancing, and her $1,000 prize win made a positive experience even better!
