Association’s Murray Recognized by The Daily Record

In honor of Veteran’s Day, The Daily Record published its inaugural Veterans in Business & Law recognition program. The MD|DC Credit Union Association’s Vice President of Advocacy, Rory Murray, was recognized for his service in the United States Marines Corps prior to earning his law degree.

Murray served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 – 2007, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He was a Maryland State Trooper from 2008-2011 before graduating from Towson University. Murray earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Rory began his lobbying career at a prestigious Annapolis firm before joining the MD|DC Credit Union Association as Vice President of Advocacy.

Murray said, “Thanks to the The Daily Record for recognizing the unique contributions that Veterans make in the business and legal communities. Proud to be recognized alongside these other warriors.”
