Delaware State Police FCU Promotes New VP of Lending

Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union recently promoted Felicia Davis to Vice-President of Lending.

In her new role, Davis will ensure consumer lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members, manage the day-to-day operation of the consumer loan department, ensure compliance with state and federal lending laws, monitor and analyze economic conditions affecting the consumer and loan department and recommend appropriate action, and oversee the day-to-day operation of the collection department.

Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Wilmington University and has recently earned the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation by participating in the CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) covering a multitude of topics such as: Financial Counseling, Budgeting, Elder Fraud, Retirement Planning, Insurance and Specialized Assistance Programs.

Davis has served members of DSPFCU for 17 years beginning her tenure on the teller line and progressing through the loan department to her most recent position of loan officer. She embodies the spirit of the Credit Union Movement of “People Helping People” and goes above and beyond to help the credit union reach its financial goals by exemplifying the concepts of member service, leadership and teamwork.
