MD|DC Credit Union Association President/CEO John Bratsakis has been name to the Financial Literacy Advisory Council, one of 11 new councils and work groups established by Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman to help guide the agency’s strategic direction.

The Financial Literacy Advisory Council is charged with identifying strategies and opportunities to educate disparate communities around financial literacy and developing new financial literacy resources to meet pressing community needs. The advisory council will report back to Comptroller Lierman who officially convened the councils and work groups last week. Bratsakis will serve a two-year term.
