Association Co-presents Northeast Small Credit Union Conference
The two-day conference brought small credit union leaders together to learn key strategies for succeeding in today’s highly competitive marketplace. Hosted by American Heritage Federal Credit Union in Philadelphia, the conference was co-presented by CUNA, the MD|DC Credit Union Association, CrossState Credit Union Association, the Cooperative Credit Union Association, and the Credit Union League of Connecticut.

Sessions covered a range of topics including loan-growth strategies, generating income, succession planning, attracting new members and investing in technology.
Credit unions in the Maryland and DC region were well-represented with WSSC FCU CEO Jeff Goff and Central Credit Union of Maryland’s Lisa Jester participating in panel discussions, along with MD|DC Credit Union Association CEO John Bratsakis and VP of Member Engagement Jordan Burroughs.
“The Northeast Small Credit Union Conference provided invaluable networking and learning opportunities to help small asset size credit unions survive and thrive,” said John Bratsakis, President/CEO, MD|DC Credit Union Association. “Thanks to our co-presenters CUNA, CrossState, CCCUA and the Credit Union League of Connecticut for the opportunity to collaborate on this event.”
