Andrew Schaufele, the Chief Deputy Comptroller of Maryland, will share the economic outlook for Maryland and the region. He will provide valuable insights into key economic indicators such as interest rates and inflation. This information will help participants grasp the current economic landscape and its potential impact on credit union members.
In addition, Michelle Hammonds from the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, will discuss Bank on DC and initiatives from the Office of Financial Empowerment and Education. These programs are designed to provide resources and support that can help improve the financial well-being of members.
