Credit Union Cohort Graduates from Georgetown DEI Program
13 credit union professionals recently earned their Advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace certificates.

The program is offered through a partnership between Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and the MD|DC Credit Union Association. Association President and CEO John Bratsakis joined the graduation ceremony, held on May 19 via Zoom, to congratulate the students.
Since 2021, a total of 60 credit union leaders have completed the DEI certificate program which is designed specifically for credit unions professionals to equip them with the competencies, knowledge, and tools necessary to develop effective DEI strategies that align with HR and business objectives. By drawing on the latest research, participants gain valuable insights and skills to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations.
If you’re interested in attending the program, the next session is planned for spring 2024. You can reach out to the MD|DC Credit Union Association for more information or to be added to the waitlist. Please contact Michelle Byrnie-Parker at mparker@mddccua.org
