After its members voted unanimously in favor of merger on April 15, 2023, St. Gabriel’s Federal Credit Union merged with WSSC Federal Credit Union on May 1, 2023.

 WSSC FCU plans to maintain a presence at St. Gabriel Catholic Church while its newest members transition to its digital services and other branch locations. Along with serving the employees of WSSC Water, WSSC FCU has a history of serving faith-based communities since its merger in 2016 with Reid Temple Federal Credit Union, the location of which it has maintained to the present day.

WSSC FCU CEO Jeff Goff stated “We welcome our new members from St. Gabriel’s Federal Credit Union and look forward to providing them with a full array of products and services. I deeply respect and applaud the volunteers that served the members of St. Gabriel’s FCU with such dedication since 1967. Theirs was truly a labor of love. We look forward to serving their members with the same care and personal touch.”
