NCUA Board Member Rodney E. Hood hosted a Symposium at the New York Stock Exchange today.

MD|DC Credit Union Association President/CEO John Bratsakis is in New York at the Capital Markets Symposium, along with other credit union CEOs and League Presidents. The event was designed to help credit unions navigate the unique challenges they are facing, including:

• Strengthening financial inclusion
• Managing liquidity risks
• Utilizing derivatives contracts and interest rate swaps
• Accessing the capital markets for asset securitizations
• Using subordinated debt and secondary capital strategically

The event is headlined by Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Rostin Behnam, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York President José González, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta President Kirk Malmberg.
